Sonimage HS2 Veterinary Ultrasound

The HS2 represents the latest in technology available for veterinarians today. There are a number of elements that come together to make this unit an attractive, revenue-generating tool for veterinarians. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • L18-4 premium transducer standard for vets

  • Modes: B, M, Color, Power, PWD

  • 15 inch IPS type monitor

  • Weight 17.2 lbs

Simple Needle Visualization

Unlike conventional beam-steering technology, SONIMAGE HS2 incorporates an algorithm that utilizes two techniques—in-plane and out-plane—to improve needle visualization; this is especially important in steep angle approaches. The result is depiction of the needle tip that eliminates the need to position the ultrasound probe perpendicular to the needle, which is not always attainable due to patient positioning requirements or demanding clinical environments. The resulting needle conspicuity helps enable effective procedures.

Flow Pixel Counter

The Flow Pixel Counter (FPC) provides the information of proportion of blood flow signals presented within a region of interest (ROI) as a general measurement for 2D-mode. FPC can be used to calculate the ratio of a specific ROI to the area of specific blood flow signals presence. As such, it is a useful tool for evaluating new blood vessels within a tumor or inflammation of the synovial membrane in rheumatoid patients.

High-resolution probe

The best-in-class L18-4 linear transducer provides the high image quality required for penetrating deep tissue to view the muscles, tendons, and nerves for musculoskeletal evaluations or pain management applications. The unique, lightweight design is big on image quality for fast and clear depiction of structures, enhancing clinical confidence at the point of care.

Ergonomic design

A keen focus on ergonomic design combined with ease of use and flexibility to enhance patient management. The SONIMAGE HS2 is built for virtually any healthcare environment—it can be used on a cart or desktop.

Workflow

A sleek, compact, and a simple click interface for data distribution provides exceptional economic value across a variety of healthcare environments—from the clinic to the bedside. With seamless connectivity via DICOM to the ImagePilot or other information systems, the SONIMAGE HS2 provides an array of workflow options to meet your current needs and allow for future growth.

Sonimage MX1 Veterinary Ultrasound

With high-resolution image quality, intuitive touch interface, and simplified workflow, The Konica Minolta SONIMAGE MX1 Ultrasound System enables physicians to make a confident diagnosis and provide accurate needle guidance.

SNV™ Simple Needle Visualization

SNV™ Simple Needle Visualization software in the MX1 System uses an advanced algorithm combining in-plane and out-of-plane methods to improve needle visibility. The SNV feature lets you increase your accuracy in needle placement, making it the ideal solution for guided injections. The out-of-plane method is especially beneficial in steep needle approaches in joints in the foot.

One-touch image optimization at your fingertips

Developed with the Podiatrist in mind to shorten the system learning curve, the easy-to-use MX1 System features one-touch image optimization to simplify operation. Multiple imaging parameters, such as frequency, focus and compounding, can be changed automatically by just adjusting the depth. The result of these customized settings is exceptional image quality and resolution reliably and repeatedly, enabling physicians to make a confident diagnosis, provide therapeutic needle guidance and monitor rehabilitation. Single depth adjustment optimizes image parameters to simplify operation.
